I need an 18-week curriculum teaching middle-schoolers how to make a short film. I'm working for STAR Education, and our satellite program in Oxnard serves under-priveledged pre-teens and teens who would love to make a short film as their after-school project.
It's up to me to write the lesson plans, but I don't know a lot about filmmaking. If you have any advice for me, resources I could check out, or outlines for classes you've taught, I'd be very grateful.
If you have a wonderful curriculum that you've written, I might be able to convince my boss to buy it from you.
Any ideas appreciated!
